The seed for our main product was planted in 1987 by a man who found he was continually climbing up and down a ladder to change his drill piece from a drill bit to a screwdriver bit as he fixed pine panels to the ceiling of his shed. This waste of time sparked the idea "I'll go and buy a double chuck drill." After searching the market place for a tool that could accommodate his needs, this chap decided that, as there wasn’t a tool like this in public circulation, then he would invent one.
